Cleaning Checklist
Cleaning supplies are in the closet by the water fountain. The church has purchased specific supplies that are appropriate for the various surfaces in the building; i.e., wood, table surfaces, floors, etc. Please use only the supplies that are furnished here. Instructions are on the following page. If you would like to contribute to the cleaning supplies, please make a monetary donation with that special designation. If anything needs re-stocked, make a note on the white board. There are large black garbage bags in this closet which can be used to empty all the smaller trash bags from around the building.
Bathrooms:
1. Mirrors
2. Sink
3. Toilets/Urinals
4. Sweep and mop floor
5. Empty trash
Foyer and Library:
1. Dust around door and picture frames, welcome desk, window ledge, and furniture in library
2. Clean glass surface of welcome desk
3. Wipe tables in library
4. Wipe down water fountain
5. Vacuum
6. Empty trash
Church Office/Nursery/Front Classroom:
1. Vacuum
2. Empty trash
Fellowship Room:
1. Wipe counters
2. Sweep and mop floor
3. Empty trash and recyclables (If needed)
Auditorium:
1. Dry dust pews and furniture, sound booth, and piano. *DO NOT USE ANY SPRAY ON PIANO OR SOUND EQUIPMENT;
DRY DUST ONLY!*
2. Vacuum pews as needed using handheld vacuum located in the back of the auditorium.
3. Clean glass on doors leading into foyer if needed.
4. Vacuum platform, steps to platform, and mats by side doors.
5. Empty trash in sound booth and Pastor’s office.
Special note: If you are cleaning on the last weekend of the month, please check vacuum cleaner bags and replace as necessary.
Take trash and recyclables around back and place in the appropriate large cans located between the main building and the gym. Make sure doors are locked before leaving.
